When a product is certified with STANDARD 100, it is our guarantee that every component – such as fabric, thread, buttons, and zippers – has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for human health. The tests are conducted by independent OEKO-TEX® institutes, based on the comprehensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalogue. These criteria include both regulated and non-regulated substances that could be harmful to health. In many cases, the requirements of STANDARD 100 are stricter than national and international regulations. The criteria are updated at least once a year, based on new scientific findings and legal requirements.

We use recycled fibres and surplus materials wherever possible. This includes the use of recycled cotton in our products. Our Chindi rugs, for instance, are made from recycled cotton sourced from surplus production. The cotton is broken down, washed, re-dyed, and woven into rugs.
